Louis Supple is a London-based writer, strategic communications adviser, and mountain endurance athlete.
His work explores how people, landscapes and capital shape one another over time. Drawing on expeditions through remote environments, mountain endurance challenges and professional experience advising global investment firms, he writes about endurance, exploration, history, culture and the forces that shape the places we inhabit.
Recent assignments have taken him from ski mountaineering on the Mediterranean islands of Sicily and Crete to an expedition across Sudan's Bayuda Desert by camel and on foot. His work has appeared in The Guardian, BBC Travel and other publications.
Alongside his writing, Louis is a Director at Edelman Smithfield, where he advises global investment firms on strategy, reputation and sustainability. He holds an MA in History from the University of St Andrews and a professional certification in Nature-based Solutions from the University of Oxford.
